Dear Kitsap County Community,

I hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to invite Black birthing families in Kitsap County to participate in an important community survey. Your experiences and insights are invaluable to us, and we want to ensure that our services meet your needs.

This survey is an opportunity for yourself, community members, or clients to share birthing experiences and help shape the future of maternal health services in our community. Your feedback will directly inform our efforts to provide better support and care for Black families in Kitsap County.

To participate, please click Survey The survey is confidential and will take about 30 minutes of your time. As a token of our appreciation, participants will receive a $30 gift card for the online survey or a $45 gift card for in person interviews.

Holly Ridge Center

Holly Ridge Center is a nonprofit organization offering highly specialized programs and services for children and adults with disabilities. Founded in 1963, we have continuously offered support, guidance, education and highly-specialized programs and services in Kitsap and North Mason Counties. Through these efforts, Holly Ridge Center strives to:

Support each family in their journey;
Help each person reach their fullest potential; and
Create a positive and lasting impact on the community.

FOR CHILDREN AGES 0 TO 3

One of only 12 neurodevelopmental centers in Washington, providing early support services to children from birth to three years of age who present developmental delays or are medically fragile. With highly-trained staff in multiple disciplines serving more than 1,000 children each year, this is the only program of its type on the Olympic Peninsula.

Kitsap Supports Breastfeeding encourages, protects, supports, and provides resources for breastfeeding mothers and their families. This campaign assists mothers and their families in achieving their breastfeeding goals through community advocacy, education, and the creation of a more welcoming breastfeeding environment throughout Kitsap County.

Mama Moves Kitsap is a nurse-led postpartum group incorporating mindfulness and movement in Kitsap County's beautiful parks!
It can be hard to get out of the house and back to being active postpartum, Mama Moves is an opportunity to meet other new mom and spend some time outside.
