Lactation

When do you need lactation support?

01 — In Pregnancy

Why wait to learn about the ins and outs of breastfeeding after you have baby? Join a support group prior to birth and learn from other moms and certified leaders.

02 — Right after baby is born

With each baby, breastfeeding is a NEW journey. You may have had it easy with your first, but not as much with this one. A lactation consultant can help you figure out where the disconnect is.

03 — When something doesn’t seem right…

Trust your gut!! Are your nipples extremely sore, cracked, or bleeding? Do you have pain with nursing? Are you feeling unwell with breast tenderness? Is baby making noises, arching their backs, or not gaining weight? These are just a few signs something might not be right with the latch. It’s always ok to reach out for help.
